𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 Part 4
So I started running into some problems with Pura. But the weird thing was that she was totally fine hiking out. So while I was having issues with the normal training, we could go to the natural park and ride for 3 hours and she was totally fine.
I really felt confused. How is it possible that a horse can be so hard in the arena and then so easy outside? Could it be true that a horse can just simply hate the work in the arena? That didn't really make much sense to me. I did know that I didn't have the time to go out on hacks with her everyday to train her. And then there was Nikki that I was preparing for a new season of showing in the reining.
One thing I did notice and that was the shape of her back. There always was very little muscle on her back, especially compared to Nikki. There was also a little bump around the SI area that I didn't understand what it was.
So for the first time in my life I invited an osteopath to come out and check her out. Turned out she had a very sore back and a huntersbump. She would need quite a bit of training on her backmuscles to become better.
I got my first task : 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞.
