𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 Part 3

3 months after Pura had her baby we started training her. There were a bunch of kids at the yard happy to ride her and I trained her on the side. During this time I started noticing that my Quarter Horse Nikki really liked her. This was quite special because Nikki wasn't too crazy about socializing with other horses. So in the summer they were out together in the field. I trusted Nikki with my life so after the training I'd ride her back to the field having Pura walking next to us. I felt like a real cowgirl.

I started falling for this girl but didn't really think of buying her.

Her owner wanted some compensation for her expenses so in the ended she needed to be leased to someone. At the time I couldn't afford these expenses so a nice girl from the yard started leasing her and I stopped training her. The girl really liked her and Pura seemed quite okay in this time. She had her perks but nothing too crazy.

I don't remember how long it took but at a certain point the decision was made that Pura had to be sold. The girl wanted her own horse but in the end decided not to go for Pura so that meant she had to go away. By that time I had a better job, started my own company and more money was coming in. My boyfriend at the time enjoyed being around the horses and we even went on rides together in the forest. Me on Pura and he on Nikki. It was great!

Once I got the news that she had to go I had this strong feeling 'don't let this one go'

It all went really fast but within a week I had bought my second horse! 😍
