After buying Pura things already started to become more of a puzzle. She behaved differently under the western saddle compared to the dressage saddle. She wasn't really jumpy or dangerous. But very forward and behind the bit. The canter was a struggle, she lacked a lot of balance and I tried to guide this is best as I could and thought that 'I had this'. She really felt like a 3yo, nothing more and nothing less.
But whatever I did she only seemed to get 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞.
Not really the development you want to see 😅
She became more tense, she started fleeing at weird things and the longer I worked with her, the more I felt incompent and at a certain point I actually became a bit afraid of riding her. This picture is certainly not one of my proudest moments. We came for really far.
